Effective 7/7/2021, all SWARC in-person meetings are being resumed!
Until further notice, we will meet outdoors at the Follansbee Park in the north end of Follansbee, WV, behind the old Follansbee Middle School (Blue Wave Center)
Also, Dinner Meetings are being resumed at Murray's Restaurant in Wintersville (across from Indian Creek High School).
Business Meetings occur, as above, on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM. Listen on the 147.06 repeater prior to the meeting for any changes.
The Dinner and Social Meeting gathers, as above, on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 5:00 PM. Listen on the 147.06 repeater for any changes.The above in-person meetings will continue until further notice.

Utilizing the N8GD EchoLink system, with an add-on program called EchoProducer (by EI4JR), the WD8IIJ 147.06+ repeater has the capability to broadcast bulletin/QST programs, various announcements of interest to local Amateurs, weather conditions, weather forecasts, and weather alerts. PACKET RADIO NOW on 145.070 MHZ:
N8GD operates a PBBS (Packet Bulletin Board System) for the TERA (Tri-county Radio Association) Group on 145.070 MHz @ 1200 baud. Connect using either "WINTOH" (the alias) or the call of N8GD. TERA info as well as ARRL bulletins, weather reports and statistical summaries, and other messages of interest are available (such as ARNewsline in text format). Local Amateurs are encouraged to post both public and private messages on the PBBS. It runs 24/7 and is accessible directly on 145.07 MHz or via TOROH as a digi (C WINTOH V TOROH) or via WINTVL as a digi (C WINTOH V WINTVL). It is being relocated to the TERA Radio Station at the Wintersville United Methodist Church.
